Minneapolis Children’s Advocacy Network (Minneapolis CAN) is a coalition advocating for the well-being, education, and healthy development of children and youth in Minneapolis and urban Hennepin County.
Why now? We believe that the needs of children and youth should be a top priority in community planning and public policy decisions. In a tight economy, with deep cuts at all levels of government, we need to remind our leaders of the importance of investing in children and families. By bringing together a diverse group of child advocates, we can deliver this message and creatively uncover policy options that improve lives, create opportunities and strengthen the community.
Please join us! To learn more about participating in Minneapolis CAN, contact Susie Brown at Family & Children’s Service, 612-341-1615, or submit your contact information here.
